The first U.S. leg of Juanes’ 2008 world tour was revealed today, with shows set in markets such as New York, Los Angeles and Miami. Tickets go on sale this Friday, Dec. 14 for the arena trek, which is sponsored by Sprint and Ford.

More dates in Texas and other markets are expected to be announced at the beginning of next year, with a total of 35 shows planned for the initial stateside run.

The tour is in support of his latest album on Universal, "La Vida Es...Un Ratico."

Dates announced today for "La Vida World Tour 2008" are as follows:

March 30: Washington, D.C. (Patriot Center)
April 2: Rosemont, Ill. (Allstate Arena)
April 9: Duluth, Ga. (Gwinnett Arena)
April 10: Orlando, Fla. (Amway Arena)
April 12: Miami (American Airlines Arena)
May 7: Los Angeles (Nokia Theatre)
May 9: Los Angeles (Nokia Theatre)
May 16: San Jose, Calif. (HP Pavilion at San Jose)
