The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) released the top 12 most played holiday songs of 2007 as tracked by radio airplay monitoring service Mediaguide, culled from over 2,600 radio stations across the country.

According to ASCAP, the top 12 most-played holiday songs in its repertoire this year are:

1. "Sleigh Ride" (133,264 plays)
2. "Winter Wonderland" (126,638)
3. "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" (99,687)
4. "Jingle Bell Rock" (96,162)
5. "White Christmas" (90,434)
6. "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" (90,030)
7. "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" (82,308)
8. "A Holly Jolly Christmas" (69,436)
9. "Silver Bells" (68,665)
10. "Frosty the Snowman" (68,252)
11. "I'll Be Home for Christmas” (63,959)
12. "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)" (59,390)

Mediaguide, co-owned by ASCAP, was launched in 2002 to monitor radio broadcast music in real-time and facilitate the accurate distribution of royalty payments to songwriters, composers and publishers.
