-- As part of its upcoming world tour, British rock act Def Leppard will perform 19 dates in North America, beginning March 27 at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in Greensboro, N.C., and wrapping April 26 at the Coors Amphitheater in Chula Vista, Calif. The Live Nation-produced trek is in support of a new studio album. Details about the set are forthcoming. Def Leppard played 50 concerts across the U.S in 2007.

-- Live Nation has introduced a new feature to its Web site, where users can customize search pages to receive concert recommendations based on musical tastes. "My Live Nation" allows users to customize search pages by entering in favorite artists and concert venues, and syncing the page with their iTunes music library. After the lists are set up, the user can sign up for concert updates through e-mail alerts, e-newsletters and text messages.

-- Two weeks before the Jan. 15 release of "Spice Girls: Greatest Hits" (Capitol), the U.K. pop group will return to America for another round of arena tour dates. The 11-date reunion trek begins Jan. 30 at the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston, and wraps Feb. 21 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. Along with a handful of Stateside and European shows, the Spice Girls recently played 17 sold-out concerts at London's O2.
