Revver, one of a number of YouTube competitors, is rumored to be up for sale after it failed to secure additional funding.

The site, which in the past raised $13 million in two rounds of venture funding, is reportedly close to being out of money and up for sale for $500,000 plus the assumption of $1 million in debt, according to CNET.

The site, which pays users who upload videos based on views, has reportedly laid off half of its staff.
