VH1 Classic will air the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony live from New York's Waldorf-Astoria Hotel on March 10 at 8:30 p.m. EST.

In addition, the ceremony simultaneously will air on MTV Networks' MHD: Music High-Definition Channel.

Those being named to the Hall of Fame this year are: Madonna, John Mellencamp, Leonard Cohen, The Dave Clark Five and The Ventures. Little Walter will be inducted into the "sideman" category, and producers Gamble & Huff will receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award.

The event concludes a week of Hall of Fame programming on VH1 Classic, which will include D.A. Pennebaker's Bob Dylan documentary "Don't Look Back"; "BBC Crown Jewels: Stevie Wonder," shot at Teddington Studios; "VH1 Rock Docs: Amazing Journey: The Story of The Who" and concert compilation "Led Zeppelin: Live."

A two-and-a-half hour highlights version of the live induction ceremony will air on March 22.
