Univision Communications on Monday disclosed that it received $153 million for the sale of its music recording and publishing business to Universal Music Group -- a deal announced last week at an undisclosed sum.

Univision, in a regulatory filing, said $113 million from the sale of its Spanish-language Univision Music Group would be due at closing, with the rest due later dates. Univision will use the $113 million to pay down debt, it said.

The Univision Music Group includes Univision Records, Fonovisa Records and Disa Records, with Marco Antonio Solis, Los Tigres del Norte and Gloria Trevi on its artist roster.
