-- Actress/singer Raven-Symoné will embark on a 55-date U.S. arena tour, beginning April 26 at Orlando, Fla.'s UCF Arena, and wrapping July 13 at Sacramento, Calif.'s ARCO Arena. The nationwide "Pajama Party" trek, produced by Los Angeles-based AEG Live, will begin on the heels of Symoné's (real name: Christina Pearman) film debut in Disney's "College Road Trip." The jaunt -- featuring openers Mitchel Musso, B5 and Clique Girlz -- will support Pearman's self-titled release on Hollywood Records, scheduled to drop April 29. Tickets for the tour go on sale beginning March 14.

-- Umphrey's McGee, Moe., the Flaming Lips, the Roots, O.A.R., the New Pornographers, Girl Talk, the Avett Brothers and Blind Mellon, among others, will perform as part of the Summer Camp 2008 Music Festival, to be held May 23-25 at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Ill. Three-day tickets for the festival, which is produced Jay Goldberg Events & Entertainment and Jam Productions, are currently on sale for $140 via summercampfestival.com. The event will feature more than 45 acts on four stages. Other artists scheduled to perform include STS9, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, G. Love & Special Sauce, Tea Leaf Green, Clutch, and Hot Buttered Rum.

-- Kanye West, Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott, Morris Day and the Time, Maze (featuring Frankie Beverly) and comedian Chris Rock are among the first acts announced for the 2008 Essence Music Festival, scheduled for July 4-6 at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans. Tickets for the event are currently on sale via Ticketmaster. Last year's Essence Music Festival featured Ciara, Ludacris, Ne-Yo, the O'Jays with Keith Sweat and Johnny Gill, Robin Thicke and comedian Steve Harvey.
