Despite rumors to the contrary, MC the Game is still incarcerated in a Southern California jail.

Yesterday, after serving eight days of jail time, reports surfaced that the rapper walked out of Los Angeles' Twin Tower Correctional Facility a free man. But, according to his management, the Game was simply transferred to another facility.

"Game gets out on April 2 I believe," says manager Jimmy Rosemond. "He may be Paris Hilton and we might get him out early, but he's still in jail right now."

The Game entered jail on March 2 for a 60-day jail sentence stemming from allegedly pulling a gun on a player from an opposing team during a pickup basketball game at a South Los Angeles school nearly a year ago.

On February 12, Superior Court Judge Fred Wapner sentenced the Game to 60 days in jail and credited the rapper with two days already served and imposed 150 hours of community service and a three-year probationary term.

The Game's third album, "L.A.X. (Los Angeles Times)," is tentatively slated for June, according to Geffen records. Production duo Cool & Dre crafted both of the songs that the Game's camp are weighing as a possible first single for "L.A.X." In other news, while the MC promised to retire from hip-hop after this upcoming release, Rosemond doesn't think it will happen.

"I think he felt like retiring when he was fighting all of those court cases," says Rosemond. "I think when he said it, he meant it. Do I think his retirement will last? No."
