R&B singer/songwriter Syleena Johnson will be issuing her next studio album on her own label, Aneelys Records (Syleena spelled backwards), distributed by Federal/Universal Music Group. Titled "Chapter 4: Labor Pains," the forthcoming project, targeted for a Sept. 2 release, marks Johnson's fourth album. The first single will be "Shoo Fly," produced by Traxster.

Johnson was formerly signed to Jive/Zomba and released three albums during that period: 2001's "Chapter 1: Love, Pain & Forgiveness," 2002's "Chapter 2: The Voice" and 2005's "Chapter 3: The Flesh," which was her highest-charting album at No. 15 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Johnson, whose "Guess What" spent four weeks at No. 1 on the Adult R&B airplay chart, was featured on Kanye West's 2004 hit "All Falls Down," which reached No. 4 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and No. 7 on The Billboard Hot 100.
