The Roots' current trek behind their upcoming album "Rising Down" is in full swing and will carry the band through spots in the midwest, Canada, Texas, the East Coast and New Orleans, before wrapping in New Jersey in August.

The band is currently heading back from a March 15 Malaysian performance in Kuala Lumpur at the Sunburst Music Festival and will next hit the stage in Decatur, Ill., on March 29.

"Rising Down," due April 9 via Def Jam, is the follow up to 2006's "Game Theory" album which has sold 203,000, according to Neilsen SoundScan. The album features guest appearances from Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Common, Peedi Crack, Styles P and Chrisette Michele among others.
