Singer-songwriter Lloyd is prepping the release of his upcoming third album, "Lesson In Love," scheduled for a July 15 release via The Inc./Universal Motown. The first single, "How We Do It," featuring Ludacris, is co-written by Lloyd and Wood Works, and produced by Baby Boy and Superkidd.

Tricky Stewart and The Dream, Polow Da Don, J-Lack, Jasper and Big Reese and Eric Hudson lent their production efforts as well. Other songs include the Nelly-assisted "Lose Control."

"Lesson In Love" comes a year after the New Orleans-born and Atlanta-bred singer's "Street Love" album, which charted at No. 2 on both the Billboard Top 200 album and the R&B/Hip-Hop album charts. Singles "You" featuring Lil Wayne peaked on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart while "Get It Shawty" at No. 4 on the R&B/Hip-Hop track and Hot 100 tallies.
