He's baaaaack. 50 Cent is returning to the videogame world along with fellow G-Unit cronies Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and DJ Whoo Kid -- providing their likeness and voice to "50 Cent: Blood in the Sand," the follow-up to the 2005 game "50 Cent: Bulletproof."

While not directly associated with the "storyline" of the first game, “Blood in the Sand” allows gamers to play as Fiddy in an "all out battle to protect 50 Cent's assets and collect payment from a crooked overlord," according to the press release.

The new game will also feature exclusive, previously unreleased music from both Fiddy and G-Unit, and a companion mobile version of the game is planned as well.
“Bulletproof” was a commercial success with sales in the multi-millions, but was critically panned for shoddy gameplay and a weak storyline. That game included an unprecedented degree of extra content, such as music videos, full albums and video interviews.

“Blood in the Sand” is developed by Swordfish Studios and published by Vivendi Games' Sierra Entertainment. It will be released on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation3. No release date was revealed.
