Universal Music Publishing Group has renewed its worldwide administration agreement with five-time Grammy winner Mariah Carey. The long-term deal includes Carey's interest in her catalog as well as future songs.

"Mariah Carey is well known for her incredible voice, but we also celebrate her incredible strength as a songwriter and the fact that she has co-written most of her best known songs," says David Renzer, UMPG chairman/CEO. "We're honored that she has agreed to renew her working relationship with UMPG, and we look forward to continuing to promote her amazing and wonderful body of work globally."

Carey releases her 11th studio album, "E=MC2," on April 14. The first single, "Touch My Body," debuted worldwide Feb. 12. She co-wrote all of the songs on the album. Other writer/producers on the album include Manuel Seal, also signed with Universal, and Jermaine Dupri.
