The 9th annual Latin Grammy Awards will be broadcast live from the Toyota Center in Houston on Nov. 13. This will mark the first year the awards show is held in Houston. Previous Latin Grammy shows were held in Miami, Los Angeles, New York and Las Vegas.

Nominations for this year's event will be announced Sept. 10. The 9th annual Latin Grammy Awards will air live on Univision Television Network, and the telecast will be seen globally in more than 100 countries.

Last year's awards show, held in Las Vegas, featured big winner Juan Luis Guerra, who took home honors for album of the year, song of the year, record of the year, tropical song and best merengue album. The awards were for his single and album "La Llave De Mi Corazon." The bachata icon was also this year's Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year.
