Stone Temple Pilots and the Tragically Hip will headline this year's first Virgin Festival in Calgary, to be held June 21-22 at Fort Calgary.

Other acts on the bill include the Flaming Lips, Three Days Grace, Corb Lund, Face to Face, the Dudes, Pride Tiger, Crash Parallel, Matthew Good, City and Colour, Stars, Constantines, the New Pornographers, Attack In Black, Ten Second Epic, the Spades, the Whitsundays and Said the Whale.

A limited amount of early bird tickets for the Goldenvoice-produced Virgin Festival Calgary will be available tomorrow (April 9) via futureshop.ca. The general public ticket on-sale begins April 12. One-day passes for $75.50 (plus service fees), and two-day passes cost $125.

In related news, Foo Fighters, Oasis, Bloc Party, Wintersleep, Constantines,
Spiritualized, Paul Weller, Stereophonics, the Weakerthans and the Pigeon Detectives, will perform at the Toronto edition of the Virgin Festival, which is also produced by Goldenvoice. A Lineup has yet to be announced for the Virgin Festival in Vancouver.

Baltimore, Md.'s 2008 Virgin Mobile Festival, set for Aug. 9-10 at Pimlico Race Course, will also feature Foo Fighters and Stone Temple Pilots, along with Jack Johnson, Kanye West and Nine Inch Nails, among others. The festival is produced for the third year by I.M.P.
