DJ/turntablist Mike Relm has been selected to appear on Tony Hawk's Boom Boom HuckJam action sports tour, beginning July 18 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in San Antonio, and wrapping Aug. 24 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, Calif.

The upcoming 24-city jaunt will coincide with the July release of Relm's new DVD, "Clown Alley" (Radio Fried Films), which features live performances filmed at Detroit's Palace of Auburn Hills, Indio, Calif.'s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and Aspen, Colo.'s Winter X-Games.

The forthcoming DVD -- originally slated for an April release -- also features a series of audio mash-ups (Simon & Garfunkel, Beastie Boys, Rage Against the Machine and Heart) with real-time video images from such films as "Reservoir Dogs," "Napoleon Dynamite" and "Swimming With Sharks."

Along with gigs at Hawk's Boom Boom HuckJam -- which features skateboarding,
BMX and freestyle Moto-X -- Relm will appear at this year's Live 105 BFD radio concert (June 7) at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif., the Webby Awards (June 10) in New York, and the second annual Treasure Island Music Festival (Sept. 20) in San Francisco.

Relm recently finished an arena trek with the Blue Man Group.
