- Luis Fonsi recorded a special version of his new single "No Me Doy Por Vencido" for use in the AT&T campaign centered around this year's Olympic Games. Net proceeds from mobile downloads of the tracks by the wireless company's customers or at att.net will benefit U.S. Olympic teams and help defray expenses such as travel and equipment. The Aug. 8 - Aug. 25 campaign will include Spanish-language spots on Telemundo featuring the new version of "No Me Doy Por Vencido", the first single from Fonsi's Aug. 26 album on Universal, "Palabras del Silencio."

- Signos Music , the new label started by independent publisher Hugo Gonzalez, is preparing its first releases.
