Canadian MC Kardinal Offishall is prepping a tour with Akon and announced Sept. 9 as the new release date for his LP, "Not 4 Sale." The rapper's fourth album will hit shelves via Kon Live/Interscope and was originally slated tentatively for July.

Offishall's current single, "Dangerous" featuring Akon, sits at No. 16 on the Hot 100 chart. The rapper recently released his second single, "Burnt," via his Web site and his third single, "Set It Off" featuring The Clipse will hit the web in the coming weeks. Offishall is also preparing an upcoming as-yet-untitled tour with the Kon Live label head Akon and labelmates Colby O' Denis, Ray Lavender, R. City and Flipsyde.

Offishall is a native of Ontario, Calif. and boasts Jamaican ancestry. Drawing on both North American and West Indian influences, the MC's skills switch from straight hip hop to reggae chatting depending on the track. Releasing his debut LP "Eye & I" in 1997, Offishall signed to MCA in 2000, where he released 2001's "Quest for Fire: Firestarter, Vol. 1." After MCA folded in 2003, the MC released his third album, "Fire and Glory," in 2005 via Virgin in Canada only before signing to Akon's Kon Live label in 2006. Most recently, the MC's was featured on Estelle's song "Magnificent" from her LP, "Shine," which was released in April.
