After recently being named the official fan-to-fan ticket marketplace for Madonna's North American tour and the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, StubHub has announced a similar partnership with the Virgin Mobile Festival, to be held Aug. 9-10 at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore.

Secondary ticketing company StubHub will serve as the only destination to buy Virgin Mobile Festival premier VIP packages, which include VIP viewing and hospitality areas, complimentary parking with shuttle service and backstage tours.

The new partnership with Baltimore's Virgin Mobile Festival marks the third deal of its kind for StubHub. After landing the Madonna tour, StubHub spokesperson Vanessa Daniele expressed the importance of the deal to the secondary ticket marketplace.

"This is the first partnership of this nature where StubHub has been endorsed as the official fan-to-fan ticket marketplace for an artist's entire North American tour, and we are thrilled that the first artist we are working with is as iconic as Madonna," Daniele said. "This deal not only speaks volumes for StubHub as a pioneer, but the legitimacy of the secondary market as a whole."

As previously announced, the third annual Virgin Mobile Festival will feature Foo Fighters, Jack Johnson, Kanye West, Nine Inch Nails, Stone Temple Pilots, Bob Dylan, Iggy & the Stooges, Paramore, Chuck Berry (backed by the Silver Beats), the Black Keys and Wilco, among others.

Tickets are currently on sale via Ticketmaster. Two-day tickets are $175 for general admission and $450 for VIP. Single-day tickets are $97.50 for general admission and $250 for VIP. A charity contribution of $1.50 will be applied to each day's ticket.

Virgin Mobile Festival is produced by I.M.P. chairman Seth Hurwitz.
