Busta Rhymes, Q-Tip, Swizz Beatz and Kardinal Offishall helped kick off Pepsi's "Month in the Mix" celebration of their hip-hop DJ Division last night (July 31) at New York's Arena.

Beginning in 2006, Pepsi's DJ Division has sought to increase the brand's presence in the urban community with the help of DJ Drama, Clinton Sparks, DJ Enuff, DJ Pharris, Eric Cubeechee, Felli Fell, Irie and Quicksilva.

At the event, Kardinal Offishall performed his top 10 hit "Dangerous," while Q-Tip played his newest single, "Getting Up," from his forthcoming album, "The Renaissance." Busta Rhymes and Black Sheep's Dres joined Q-Tip for "Scenario" and "This or That," while Swizz Beatz closed the show as the surprise guest and performed his new cut, "That Oprah."

Pepsi will hold similar events for "Month in the Mix" in several other major markets, including Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, Miami, St. Louis and Washington D.C. throughout August.
