Having inspired several songs, Barack Obama's historic presidential campaign has now spawned an entire CD. Hidden Beach Recordings has compiled a collection of current, classic and new tracks for "Yes We Can: Voices of a Grassroots Movement."

The 18-song CD is available as a digital download or physical CD exclusively via the Obama campaign's official web site (BarackObama.com) between now and the Nov. 4 election. All sales proceeds ($24.99 for digital download; $30 for physical CD) will benefit the campaign's fundraising efforts. Following the election, the disc will be made available to the general public through Hidden Beach's web site and retail outlets. Hidden Beach plans to donate a portion of those proceeds to various charitable organizations.

Hidden Beach is distributed worldwide through Universal Music Group Distribution.

Taking part of its title from one of the campaign's central themes, "Yes We Can: Voices of a Grassroots Movement" features a diverse range of artists including Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, Kanye West, Jill Scott, Los Lonely Boys, Sheryl Crow, Jackson Browne and BeBe Winans.

Integrating speech excerpts from nominee Obama, the CD features such current and classic material as Mayer's "Waiting on the World to Change," Crow's "Out of Our Heads" and Wonder's "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours," which is the official Obama-Biden campaign anthem. New music on the CD includes Lionel Richie's "Eternity," John Legend's "Pride in the Name of Love," Dave Stewart's "American Prayer" and Malik Yusef's "Promised Land" featuring West and Maroon 5's Adam Levine.

Hidden Beach CEO Steve McKeever received more than 150 submissions for the project. "We've created what we believe to be the first-ever presidential campaign compilation," says McKeever in a press release announcing the CD. "The incredible response by the creative community underscores how deeply inspiring this campaign has been across boundaries."
