Zune is now Univision.com's exclusive online music download provider, the companies announced today. The new service, Baja Zune Musica en Univision.com, is powered by Zune's catalog of 4 million songs. Artist profiles on Univision.com are now accompanied by links to download their music on Zune Marketplace, although they also have links to purchase physical product on sites like Amazon.
To introduce the new service, Zune is offering a 2-for-1 sale on some Latin titles for a limited time.

Online downloads of Latin music have lagged historically, with digital album sales comprising a mere 2.2% of Latin album sales during the first half of 2008, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Microsoft's Zune has aggressively branded itself in the Latin space, most prominently by issuing a limited-edition Wisin & Yandel-branded device.
