- BitTorrent's CEO and president have left the company. Additionally, about half of the staffers, 18 in total, were laid off last week.

- Alltel Wireless is offering subscribers a monthly ringtone subscription service from mobile content provider Zed, featuring master ringtones from all four major labels and various independents. The RealTone JukeBox VIP Club costs $6 a month for three downloads a month. Zed also operators Alltel's a la carte ringtone store.
