Fresh off his Latin Grammy sweep, Juanes was nominated for best Latin Pop album at this year's Grammys along with Luis Miguel, Jorge Drexler, Luis Fonsi and Tommy Torres.

The nominations spanned both traditional and contemporary sounds within the various subgenres. Nods went to Grupo Fantasma, Jaguares, Locos Por Juana, Nortec Collective's Bostich & Fussible and Ximena Sariñana in the best Latin rock or alternative album category.

Other nominations included Nadia and the Mariachi Divas for best regional Mexican album, and a tropical Latin album category that included both a re-formed DLG and Albita with Rey Ruiz and Donato Poveda.

Wisin & Yandel, who won for best urban album at the Latin Grammys for "Los Extraterrestres," were once again nominated in the Latin urban category.
