U2 will perform for an unprecedented five nights in a row on the "Late Show with David Letterman" on March 2 - March 6, the release week of their next album, "No Line on The Horizon."

The last time U2 performed on the show was in 2001; prior to that Bono and Larry Mullen Jr. were interviewed by Letterman in 1997.

U2 has already started making media appearances in support of "Horizon" - the band played lead single "Get On Your Boots" at the Grammys on Feb. 8

"Horizon" will drop March 3.
