U.K. dance act Basement Jaxx will headline the main stage at the Wireless festival in London's Hyde Park on July 4. It is a return to the Wireless stage for the act, which performed at the inaugural event in 2005.

U.K. hip-hop outfit the Streets will headline the second stage and rapper Dizzee Rascal will appear on the main stage. More acts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

The Wireless festival is a Live Nation venture. Although it is traditionally a four-day event, the 2009 instalment has been shortened due to Hyde Park bookings for the reformed Blur (July 2-3), also promoted by Live Nation. At this stage, Wireless organizers have only confirmed performers for Saturday, July 4.
