Colombian singer/songwriter Fonseca has announced the launch of the U.S. leg of his "Gratitour," so named after his new album, "Gratitud" (Gratitude).

Fonseca's 12-city stint, which boasts five more stops than his 2007 U.S. tour, begins April 16 at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts in Miami. Fonseca will play mostly theaters and a few clubs, including House of Blues in Las Vegas May 6 and the Black Cat in Washington, DC, on April 25. Ticket prices for the tour fluctuate between $22 and $57. Fonseca's tour is booked by The William Morris Agency.

His past U.S. tour, in 2007, comprised eight shows which grossed $230,000, according to Billboard Boxscore, with an attendance of over 9,000. After playing in the United States, the Colombian star will continue with a series of arena shows in Central and South America.
