Pio Ferro, SBS' VP of programming, has left the company sources say. SBS had no comment on Ferro's departure and has not announced a replacement. Ferro had been with SBS since 2000 and was appointed VP of programming in 2005.

SBS is the largest, Hispanic-controlled media company in the country, and owns and operates 20 stations in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Puerto Rico, Chicago and San Francisco, including WSKQ (97.9 FM), the top rated Spanish language station in the country. SBS' holdings also include Music site lamusica.com and television channel Mega TV.
