Univision Communications has struck a deal with entertainment marketing/promotions company Eventus to launch a tour linked to Univision's Premios Juventud Awards.

The "Premios Juventud En Vivo" tour will stop at the top U.S. Hispanic markets for an entire month leading up the awards show on July 16. The tour will feature intimate performances by past and current nominees. Shows will be supported via on-air contests and promotions across Univision's TV, radio, online and mobile platforms.

The extension of an awards brand into a live show franchise has already been successfully tested with the Latin Grammy Street Parties, a series of free, street-festival shows in different U.S. cities that lead up to the Latin Grammys.

The Latin Grammy Street parties are also produced by Eventus.
