-- Aretha Franklin will play the Hollywood Bowl for the first time in 35 years on June 26. Franklin joins a summer 2009 Bowl performance lineup that includes Raphael Saadiq, Janelle Monae, the Roots, Etta James and Grace Jones. Single tickets for Franklin's appearance go on sale at the Bowl box office April 11.

-- Stevie Wonder's "All About the Love Again" has been selected as the lead single from Hidden Beach Recordings' "Change is Now: Renewing America's Promise." The official presidential inauguration music and video collection is set for retail release April 28. Also featuring Sheryl Crow, Robin Thicke and others, it was previously available solely online through hiddenbeach.com and timelife.com.

-- Indie songbirds Maya Azucena, Conya Doss and Sy Smith will convene for the Soul Sista Summit (SSS) concert series, produced by SEI Entertainment (seientertainment.com). Hosted by singer/songwriter Yahzarah, the series will get underway in June with stops in Annapolis, Md. (June 27, Rams Head On Stage), and Alexandria, Va. (June 28, Birchmere Music Hall). Prefacing the series will be a June 24 engagement -- aka The Soul Uprising -- at New York City's BB King's featuring Doss, Smith and Van Hunt.
