Music television station MuchMusic has announced its annual video awards will be co-hosted by the Jonas Brothers.

"We're thrilled to bring the most popular band in the world to the most fan-accessible award show on the planet," said Sheila Sullivan, director of programming, Much MTV Group, which is owned by CTV Inc.

The video awards will be aired live on June 21.

The Jonas Brothers appeared on MuchMusic last July, drawing more than 6,000 fans for a [email protected] appearance. Their co-hosting duties will coincide with the launch of their world tour, MuchMusic says, while their new album, "Lines, Vines and Trying Times," hits stores on June 15.

"We're so excited to get back up to Canada, and co-hosting the MMVAs is a real honor for us," Kevin Jonas said in a statement.
