U.K. rock act Muse has confirmed a 30-date European tour including British and Irish arena dates in support of its forthcoming album "The Resistance."

Starting at Sheffield Arena on Nov. 4, the U.K. and Irish dates run through Liverpool Echo Arena (Nov. 5), Dublin O2 Depot (Nov. 6), Glasgow SECC (Nov. 9), Birmingham NIA (Nov. 10) and London O2 Arena (Nov. 12 and 13).

The Agency is the booking agent, with SJM Concerts the promoter for England, DF Concerts in Glasgow, MCD in Dublin and various promoters for the remainder of Europe.

The confirmed dates begin Oct. 22 at Helsinki's Hartwell Arena and finishes Dec. 4 at Turin's Pala Olimpico.

The Warner-signed band is currently putting the finishing touches to "The Resistance," its self-produced fifth release. Mark 'Spike' Stent (U2, Oasis, Massive Attack) will mix the record.
