On the eve of his charity concert in New York, Jay-Z has announced the dates for his upcoming fall tour, produced by Live Nation. With 21 shows confirmed -- including Philadelphia, Seattle, and Austin, Texas -- the tour will make stops at college campus arenas and traditional venues across North America starting on October 9.

Beginning September 4, fan club members have an opportunity to buy pre-sale tickets for select cities; a pre-sale for CITI card holders in select cities will begin today (Sept. 8) through CITI's Private Pass program. For complete details visit www.citiprivatepass.com. Tickets go on sale for the general public in select markets on Sept. 11 at LiveNation.com.

The fall tour is the follow-up to last year's "Mary J. Blige & Jay-Z: Heart of the City" tour," which grossed more than $35 million, according to Billboard Boxscore.

Prior to the tour kickoff, Jay-Z will hold a charity concert at New York's legendary Madison Square Garden on Friday, September 11, in support of The New York Police & Fire Widows and Children's Benefit Fund. For this event, 100% of the proceeds from tickets sales and concert merchandise will go directly to the charity. For more information please visit www.answerthecall.org.

Jay-Z's latest studio album, "The Blueprint 3," is available in stores today.
