-After a long career on EMI, Texas-based norteño icons Intocable are licensing their yet-untitled next album on Sony Music Latin. The release, slated for the end of the year, will cover songs by another norteño group, Los Relámpagos del Norte. First single ³Hay Ojitos² went to radio today.

-Liberman Broadcasting's new network, Estrella TV, is now in 68 percent of Hispanic homes, the company announced. Liberman, which owns 22 radio stations, has been building its TV network by buying television stations (it now owns seven) and signing up 17 broadcast affiliates nationwide.

-The Latin Recording Academy is kicking off its showcase series at Los Angeles' Grammy Museum tomorrow (Sept. 16) with Colombian singer-songwriter Marta Gomez. After an onstage interview, Gomez will take questions from the audience and perform songs. The Grammy Museum hosted a similar event with fellow Colombian artist Fonseca in June. LARAS expects to present at least four showcases at the museum before the Latin Grammys in November.
