Mobile music technology company Melodeo unveiled a new version of its flagship nuTsie service, which allows users to stream any song in their iTunes library to any mobile phone.

The new version adds the ability to play their library on-demand. The original version would stream users’ iTunes libraries in random order. Also new is the ability to automatically and wirelessly sync users’ iTunes libraries with the phone, rather than manually doing so. Given the fact that this dramatically increases the amount of music available at any time, the new version also includes a caching feature so those songs can be accessed even when the device is out of service range. It also includes a new music recommendation and discover feature that Melodeo introduced separately called Effin Genius .

Company VP of marketing Dave Dederer tells Billboard the company is close to finalizing several such commercial partnerships, and points to one unnamed “major mobile software company” demoing the solution at CES last week.
