Urban bachata act Aventura, which had the top-selling Latin album in 2009 with "The Last" and sold out four nights at New York's Madison Square Garden during its recently completed 21-date U.S. tour, announced the Latin American leg of its trek.

The Dominican-American band from the Bronx, which will appear April 28 at the Billboard Latin Music Conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in a star Q&A, will play seven dates in Venezuela April 23 through May 2. Aventura continues on to Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay, and Bolivia in May, and will hit Mexico in June.

"The Last" has gone gold in Mexico for sales of more than 40,000 copies, according to Mexican labels body Amprofon.
