IMHO, the early-stage company led by Don Ienner, unveiled a new social media-based content player on Wednesday.

Ienner is the former chairman and CEO of Sony Music Label Group and Columbia Records. He is also a board member of OurStage.

The player, currently in alpha, has 150 radio stations, music content from digital distributor the Orchard and more than 900 games supplied by RealNetworks. nuTsie is currently featuring the IMHO player on its home page.

IMHO describes its player as one of the first hybrid platforms by allowing users to pay for content through cash or advertising-based solutions. The player is a cross between a media player and a social game. Users can enjoy and share music, video and other media content.

In addition, users can gain IMHO dollars by interacting with friends or watching advertisements, or they can purchase IMHO dollars through PayPal, credit card or Paymo's pay-by-phone solution. Virtual items can be purchased with earned IMHO dollars. And like many other online games, users can create avatars and customize the look of the player.

IMHO is initially targeting Facebook users by using Facebook Connect for new registrations. The IMHO home page is currently blank aside from a player demo and a Facebook Connect button.
