A survey from mobile app distributor Mplayit suggest mobile users are willing to pay for content. The company, which operates a mobile app store on Facebook, says 35% of users say they are interested in paid apps, regardless of which device they own. More than half of the most popular iPhone apps accessed via Mplayit are paid, at 57%, the company says, compared to 33% for the BlackBerry and 16% for Android devices.

However the amount users of different devices will pay varies as well. BlackBerry users pay a median price of $6, compared to $2.72 for Android users and $2 for iPhone users.
