-- The Neptunes plans to release its new album, "Nothing," on Sept. 7. "We started with nothing, so that's why we are titling it 'Nothing.' The world is changing around us and a lot is going on. So we felt we should document it; be like the news reporters of the late '60s and early '70s writing about flower power and peace," Pharrell Williams notes.

-- Colby O'Donis is getting ready to drop his new single, "Angel." The singer/songwriter, who co-wrote Lady Gaga's "Just Dance," says he's been writing for "different artists so I've been in the background. But I'm ready to come out with my second project."

-- Rapper Flo Rida and David Guetta join forces on "Club Can't Handle Me," the just-released latest single from the "Step Up 3D" soundtrack. The Atlantic project arrives July 27; the film opens nationwide Aug. 6. Flo Rida is also at work on his next album, "The Only One." One of the tracks, "Fresh I Stay," features Lil Wayne.

-- Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas and fellow TLC founding member Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins are talking about recording new material, with Thomas noting that they would like to work with B.o.B. "He is great musically and lyrically," Thomas says. Chilli and T-Boz will be touring Japan next month for a couple of weeks. Thomas is also preparing to shoot season two of her VH1 reality show, "What Chilli Wants."

-- Eric Benet's new single, "Sometimes I Cry," is set for release in the next several weeks. It's from his new mid-'70s-vibed Reprise/Warner Bros. album, "Lost in Time," due in September.
