Reggaetón star Don Omar will join the launch of the “Machete Tour” put together by urban Latin label Machete in celebration of the label’s fifth anniversary. The tour kicks off at the Theatre in Madison Square Garden Oct. 22, with Don Omar joining a roster that includes Ivy Queen, Chino y Nacho, Angel & Khriz, Jowell y Randy, R.K.M y Ken-Y and Jking & Maximan. The tour also includes non-Machete acts Flex and Tego Calderón.

Don Omar’s performance comes prior to the release of his new album, “Meet the Oprhans,” out Nov. 2 on Machete. The video of the album’s first single, “Dana Kuduro,” has scored over 8 million views in less than a month on Youtube and is at No. 11 on Billboard’s Latin digital songs chart.

The Machete tour is produced by Machete Records with AEG Live and includes dates in Los Angeles, San Francisco, El Paso and Charlotte.
