The Facebook game Nightclub City from developer Booyah is going to stream live a concert by Kiss, a first for the classic rockers.
Nightclub City lets users create their own virtual clubs, choose what kind of music they want to stream in those clubs and deck out their clubs with virtual accessories bought through the game. Until now, most of the music available in Nightclub City were from virtual unknowns providing their music for free.
Kiss is by far the largest act participating in the game to date. The concert, taking place Sept. 25 during the last stop on their 2010 tour, will also be simulcast on KROQ.com in Los Angeles and CBS Radio websites nationwide, as well as on Ustream.
Kiss is also making available to Nightclub City users exclusive Kiss-branded virtual merchandise to anyone watching the in-game concert stream, as well as providing a dedicated playlist that includes many of the band’s greatest hits.
Nightclub City claims more than 8.5 million users.
