As part of the Latin Grammy celebrations in November, the Latin Recording Academy (LARAS) will honor several music industry veterans and artists with its Lifetime Achievement and Trustees Awards at a private ceremony Nov. 10.

Artists João Donato, Armando Manzanero, Las Hermanas Márquez, Joseito Mateo, Jorge Oñate, and Susana Rinaldi will receive the Lifetime Achievement award as performers who have made "creative contributions of outstanding artistic significance to the field of recording."

In turn, evangelist and TV producer Miguel Bonilla; composer/producer Juan Carlos Calderon; and Brazilian host/actress Hebe Camargo will receive the Trustees award for their contributions, other than performance to the field of recording. Recipients of both awards are voted upon by LARAS' trustees.
