Billboard is pleased to announce that reggaeton star Don Omar will be a special guest on the digital panel at next month's Billboard Latin Music Conference.
The singer will share the stage with Facebook's Alexandre Hohagen, Google's Rodrigo Paranhos Velloso and Universal Music's Horacio Rodriguez for "My Big Vast Social Network," an in-depth discussion on social-media strategies and how to optimize and monetize results. The panel will be moderated by Telemundo's Borja Perez and take place on Tuesday, April 26 at 3:30 p.m.
Omar's "Danza Kuduro" video (featuring Lucenzo) topped the 100 million-view mark on YouTube, making it the most-watched Spanish-language video on the site, and he has 4.2 million likes on Facebook and has been a steady presence on Billboard's Social 50 chart since its inception. "Danza Kuduro" spent 15 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart and remains in the top 5.
The singer will also perform at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, which air live April 28 on Telemundo.
The Billboard Latin Music Conference, presented by State Farm in association with ATT, takes place April 26-28 at the Eden Roc in Miami. Don Omar joins a roster of speaking stars that also includes Maná, Camila, Gloria Trevi, Pitbull and more. For more information and registration, visit www.billboardlatinconference.com.
