A trio of celebrities will host the 2011 Billboard Latin Music Awards on April 28, live on Telemundo, featuring some of the biggest names in music including Banda El Recodo, Chino y Nacho, Camila, Don Omar, Juanes, Lucero, Maná, Marc Anthony, and Pitbull.
Actress-host Aylin Mujica, actor Rafael Amaya and Venezuelan presenter Daniel Sarcos will helm the awards show from Miami. The program begins with red carpet coverage at 7 p.m. ET live from BankUnited Center and the awards show begins an hour later.
Mujica, who has worked on several Telemundo telenovelas including "Marina," "Sin Senos No Hay Paraíso" and "Aurora," will share hosting duties with Amaya, a leading man in such telenovelas as "La Reina del Su," and Sarcos, who was the face of "Súper sábado Sensacional" for 12 years in addition to hosting the Miss Venezuela beauty pageant for five years.
Premios Billboard will include an extensive red carpet arrivals pre-show hosted by Rashel Diaz and Omar Germenos with Jorge Bernal and Azucena Cierco. Other performers on the awards show include Dyland & Lenny, Canela, Cristian Castro, Jencarlos, Luis Fonsi, Fidel Rueda, Roberto Tapia and T-Pain.
The awards show concludes the 22nd annual Billboard Latin Music Conference presented by State Farm in association with AT&T, which takes place for three days next week starting April 26 at the Eden Roc Renaissance in Miami Beach. Latin artists, industry executives and many others will participate in panel discussions, live musical showcases, networking receptions and the Billboard Bash, a pre-Billboard Latin Music Awards show.
