Yesterday, Billboard.biz reported rumors that Apple had inked deals with two of the major labels for its pending cloud music service. And today, CNET is reporting that Warner Music Group has finalized a deal with Apple.
A WMG spokeswoman declined to comment on the rumor.
Label sources in the past have said they were looking forward to working with Apple on the cloud music service, but had not yet been told what flavor of cloud service Apple was planning. The increased rumor mill activity suggests those details have been worked out and that a buy-once-stream-anywhere type of "scan and match" storage/streaming service is going to go live soon.
