Larry Kenswil has left his post at music law firm Loeb & Loeb, Billboard has learned.

Kenswil said his last day at the company was last week, and as of Monday he had moved into private practice.

After formerly serving as the head of Universal Music Group's eLabs division, where he oversaw all digital-related dealmaking activity for the label, Kenswil is now advising digital music services on their legal strategies as they seek out label deals of their own.

At press time it was unclear whether he's starting a new firm or just acting in an independent consultant capacity.
