Jeremy Welt has left his role as senior VP of new media at Warner Bros. Records.
According to details posted on his blog, he left the company last week. No details yet on the circumstances of his departure, who will be replacing him, or where he is going next. We'll update as we learn more.
Welt has been at WBR for six years, focusing on digital promotional and marketing strategies for the label's various artists. He previously was head of new media for Maverick Records.
Originally hailing from Wisconsin, Welt is a rabid Green Bay Packer fan, as evident in this photo below ( taken in Cannes, France at the MIDEM conference this January during the NFC Championship game viewing party).
