Bilingual network for U.S.-based Latinos Tr3s: MTV, Música y Más is partnering with ourstage.com to unite new acts, fans and music industry pros to introduce undiscovered Latino artists.

By combining resources, the newly re-branded site Tr3s Latin Music Channel (ourstage.tr3s.com) will feature original music from a virtual community of about 175,000 artists. Each month, one act from the top-ranking positions will be awarded the opportunity to be seen across the network's on-air and digital platforms.

"Tr3s is a multi-platform entertainment destination that resonates with our bilingual bicultural audience," Tr3s GM/executive VP Jose Tillan said in a statement. "This partnership reinforces our commitment to delivering new music and innovation, and we look forward to promoting the next generation of Latino artists."

A judging panel is responsible for choosing the best new music from a pool of fan favorites. The winning artist will have presence on the show "Lo Que Te Pica." Additionally, artists will be featured on "Music My Güey," "Free Latin Music" and will be written about on Blogamole.

Artists are also eligible to enter contests at mtvdemo.com, where their music has the potential to be featured on scripted shows such as "Popland," which begins airing in October, Tr3s spokesperson Erica Saylor says.
