While the stalemate between Vevo and MTV continues, Vevo and Fuse have worked out a content sharing and syndication partnership that allows both parties to share content.
Most significantly, Fuse will has agreed to syndicate Vevo's online music videos, allowing Fuse to stream all videos controlled by the Vevo platform on its various websites. This includes content from Vevo stakeholders Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment and EMI Music. It also includes access to all of Vevo's original programming, including live streaming events and originally produced series.
The two will additionally collaborate on new programming, and Fuse is also contributing its archives of interviews and live event footage to the Vevo platform.
Warner Music Group is the only label of the four majors not to cast its lot with Vevo, instead opting for an online video partnership with MTV.com. The divide between Vevo and MTV has left the two companies in a heated competition to be the top online music destination.
