Avicii Signs Singles Deal With Interscope, Atom Empire

Swedish DJ/producer Avicii has inked a US singles deal with Interscope Records, in conjunction with Troy Carter's electronic dance label Atom Empire. The 22-year-old's first track with the deal, "Le7els," has already reached #1 on the international Beatport Chart and with the radio edit now available digitally, the deal looks to take the rising Swede to new audiences in America.

"It feels like little is left for chance in taking this huge club hit to the absolute top charts in North America," said Avicii manager Ash Pournouri. "I'm looking forward to us creating electronic music history together."

The new agreement also excites Carter as the deal looks to raise Avicii's profile to full superstar DJ status. "We're very excited to be working with Avicii, Ash, and the LE7ELS family. Avicii has quickly become one of the world's preeminent DJ's and we're looking forward to assisting in his global takeover."
